Imminent Trump 2024 Run

“It’s been an amazing four years…We’re trying to do another four years. Otherwise, I’ll see you in four years.”

(Trump Addresses Crowd in White House Tuesday Evening)

Tuesday evening, while talking to the crowd at the White House, Donald Trump hinted to run for the 2024 elections. The meeting was attended by many Republican National Committee members. With this, it is clear that Trump wants another term in the White House.

Despite continuous election certifications by different states, Donald Trump is still reluctant to concede the 2020 presidential elections.

President-elect Joe Biden is moving forward with the transition process. Recently he announced an all-female senior White House Press Team and several other key position holders of his administration.

Donald Trump is now planning to run for the 2024 presidential election, as he already knows that he cannot overturn this year’s results. He is discussing his campaign announcement with his allies, sponsors, and close friends.

Let’s explore the Trump 2024 election bid and whether Donald Trump can run in the 2024 elections for president?

Trump 2024 Run Legal Status

Can Trump run for president in 2024 legally?

The Constitution of the United States does not stop Donald Trump 2024 reelection. The Constitution allows every president to rule for a maximum of eight years. So, Donald Trump 2024 election bid is an absolutely legal thing.

If this happens, this will not be the first case of its type. After the Civil War, the Democratic President Grover Cleveland served two non-consecutive terms as 22nd and 24th president of the United States.

Donald Trump 2024 election news started circulating after Trump announced that he wanted Ronna McDaniel to continue as the Republican National Committee chair.

Leading news outlets, including the New York Times, suggest that Trump is planning to run for president in the 2024 elections in case of Biden’s official win.

The Trump 2024 election campaign will soon become a reality as his team has failed to get any legal relief from the lawsuits they submitted all over the US.

President’s Allies Hint at Trump 2024 Election bid:

Many allies of the president have also hinted that Trump is considering the 2024 presidential bid.

Let’s see what the allies of the president say about it.

  • In his recent interview, former Trump advisor Bryan Lanza hinted that the president is in an excellent position to run again in four years.

  • Steve Bannon has also made similar comments suggesting that a Trump 2024 election campaign will be a reality.

  • Senator Lindsey Graham also encouraged President Trump to pursue the option of the 2024 presidential election.

  • Trump ally and former Chief of the Staff Mick Mulvaney has said that the president will “absolutely” run in the 2024 presidential election. He made these comments during his speech at the Institute for International and European Affairs think tank.

According to the reports from CNN, this plan was on the table even before the election results. During this time, close advisers of President Trump had started to discuss the Trump 2024 campaign.

Trump 2024 Election Campaign and Hunger of Power: Already Predicted Before his announcement:

Politico reported that Trump told Senator Kevin Cramer that if the lawsuits don’t work out, he will run again in 2024. This became a reality after his latest address, as Trump addressed the gathering at the White House, hinting at the 2024 election.

The news outlet also said that Senator Kevin Cramer should extend his full support to the president if he decides to run again in 2024.

The Daily Beast also reported that Trump could run in 2024 as the president now knows that legal efforts to overturn election results are of no use.

Republican Leaders Want to Ditch Trump for 2024 Elections:

Although there are no legal challenges or constitutional barriers for President Donald Trump to run again in four years, he will likely face resistance from within the Republican Party.

Many other Republican leaders were already considering running for president in the 2024 presidential race. In such a time, if President Trump announces his 2024 election campaign, he may lose support from many circles of the Republican Party.

  • The Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, has already started to lure Trump supporters to his side to take part in the 2024 election.

  • Nikki Haley, the US ambassador to the United Nations, has also been waiting to get the opportunity to run for president.

  • Donald Trump Jr. has also been working on establishing his control over the Republican National Committee.

  • Vice President Mike Pence is also a strong candidate to run for president in 2024.

All of this suggests that if a Trump 2024 campaign becomes a reality, not many Republican leaders will support it.

2024 Presidential Race: Republican supporters Still Want a Fascist President in the White House

While the Republican leaders may not be happy with a Trump 2024 election campaign, mainstream Republican supporters still want to see Trump running again.

In the previous four years, Trump has established himself as the face of the Republican Party by encouraging racial groups to flourish across the country.

This Trump base failed to get him a four-year Trump victory in 2020. However, it will try its best to get a win in a Trump 2024 election. This is one of the main reasons why Trump wants to run for president in 2024 once again.

Two separate polls were conducted by The Hill regarding the acceptance of Trump by Republican voters.

The polls suggest that more than half of Republicans’ supporters want to see Trump running in 2024. Sixty-six percent of the Republican voters said they would support Trump if he decides to go again in 2024.

Meanwhile, 54 percent of the Trump supporters have said that they will vote for Donald Trump in 2024.

When will Trump Officially Announce the 2024 campaign?

According to The Daily Beas, President Trump plans to launch his 2024 campaign on Biden’s inauguration day.

The event would mark the departure of President Trump from the White House and starting a new journey to get there again in 2024.

When Trump announces his 2024 election campaign, he will indirectly concede the 2020 presidential elections also.

During Thanksgiving weekend, President Trump took a break from his legal efforts. By doing this, he declared that he would leave the office of the president if President-elect Joe Biden officially wins the electoral college.

However, he also added that he would not concede because of voter fraud. This comes as a good sign, as experts suggested that the refusal of Trump to leave the office could result in political turmoil.

It is yet to be clear why Trump chose Biden’s inauguration day for his campaign launch. However, it seems that he wants to catch the spotlight of the media by doing so.

Conclusion

Trump knew very well that he would not win the legal challenges that his Trump campaign filed after the 2020 presidential elections. Yet, he is reluctant to concede the election.

However, the acceptance of Trump to leave the White House, if Biden elected to the office, is an encouraging sign that will avoid many unwanted circumstances in the country.

As Biden moves ahead with his transition process, a Trump 2024 election campaign is becoming a reality. In case Trump wins the Republican primary in 2024, we would see a contest between 78 years old Trump and 82 years old Joe Biden. However, due to campaigns of other Republican leaders, if Trump loses the primary, he will have to wait further.

Trump is expected to launch his 2024 campaign on the inauguration day of President-elect Biden.

It seems that Trump is committed to staying in the media attention during the four years of Biden’s presidency. Right now, he is busy destroying America in his last days at the office. By doing so, he will not lose the popularity among the Republican supporters who currently prefer Donald Trump over any other Republican leader.

Something in my gut is telling that there is still some hidden agenda behind Trump’s rejecting the legitimate election (The WILL of the majority of the people who voted against him) and his refusal to concede the election while making plans to run again in 2024, an attempt which also to ignore the legal challenges he is facing after the office…But more importantly and disturbing is the silence, and at times support he received from the GOP, that I see as very dangerous to the political stability and democracy post-Trump…
